Historical Figure Chosen: Of course my darling Louis XVI. Roi de France et Navarra!!!

He is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo sexy!!!!!!!!!!

(I´m sry for my bad translations, but i hope you will still understand me anyway:( )
1.) He was born as Louis Auguste, Duc de Berry, at Versailles in August 23. 1754, between 7.30 - 7.45AM in the morning. He parents were/are the Dauphin Louis-Ferdinand(1729-1765) and his second wife  Marie-Josèphe de Saxe (Maria Josepha Carolina von Sachsen, 1731-1767).

2.)He was a strong lil baby with very good appetite, but he almost would be famished in the first three weeks of his life, in the most powerful castle of the world. Why? Well... On September 5th. the Duke de Luynes wrote in his diary: >>  The wet nurse haven´t enough milk for the child. Madame de Marsan tried truly everything to pick a new and better one than her. She got a own baby some few weeks ago herself and that's why she couldn´t fulfil her duty. 6 Ladies were available. She told the king a lot of times; And also the queen was more than angry about it, that still no change over happens. Like the Dauphin too. Anyhow... Nothing happened. Simply nothing happened. This was almost a well-known saying at Versailles, but there was also the almighty protocol. But the guiltiness of all had, for this more than well payed appointment, the Interior Minister Count de Saint-Florentin. He was pleasure-seeking person of one of the following of the king and he gave the position to one of his many "Mistress". Only in the middle of September was the deficiency wet-nurse redeemed.

3.) Louis was a very intelligent, brave, careful and lovely child. But he was also a lil bit shy(cause of wariness), guardedly cause of his own strength and with the faith in himself. He praised his brother (Louis Stanislas Xavier - Comte de Provence, future Louis XVIII. (1755-1824) and Charles-Philippe - Comte d'Artois, future Charles X (1757-1836).) everytime more than himself in  front of others. They would be more lovely and kind, more intelligent and blessed with much more charm than he. But he take really care for his sisters, especially Madame Elisabeth de France (1764-1794). He protected her as often as he could from to  ostentation nobles/visitors wich wanted to see him and his siblings. But in spite of everything he was often totally alone. He haven´t any real friends, even he was a child of the Dauphin(crown prince). So Louis was very  concentrated in his studies/"schoolworks".

4.)He got his love for the hunt through his grandfather Louis XV. He pick Louis up for the first time, when he was 3years old. Louis was an more then brilliant hunter. He also likes to create clocks, locks and maps. He was very interested in other cultures. Wrote a own book, when he was 10 years about his fav. wood (Compiégne) which they still kept in his  library at Versailles. He worked with the farmers on their area, he helped the worker in Versailles. Liked to take a walk on the roof of Versailles and to read newspapers from the other countries. He understood/spoke German, could read Latin and spoke English and Spanish. A bit Russian as well. He translated whole books from English to French like the History of England (1754 - 1763).

5.)He had to married a terrible person only for the peace of his country. A woman which he didn´t loved anymore after some years and some troubles she brought him through... But to which he was loyal until death. And which "fight" and worked all the time against him and his "might/position". Two sweet lil examples >> A.) "The queen was really pregnant. The happiness of Louis XVI. seemed to be endless, every step of him betrayed him. After all these many indignities, vituperations and aspersions, which he got through his wife, Louis XVI. won his good name back, everybody owed him; his long endurance was requited.
B.)"Elisabeth was reasonless and let accuse herself from her brother Artois in the blinded circles of the queen, for the king an antagonistically lil community full of intrigues. Now the main point, to bring Choiseul back, was not any longer important, cause he was to washed out, but one criticized every choice of the king, they patronized Necker and Loméniede Brienne, the bad priest which Vermond was still protected. The minister were afraid of it. At to appease this peoples, they appointed Ségur Besenval to the Commander of the Army of Paris and Vergennes sends Adlémar to the communication in London. These maneuver was not really good to the king and it wronged his might, but he tolerated all of it and saw it as the lil one of all the evil. He hasn´t chose his wife. He lived with her since 13 years and he connived her, watched over her and helped her. Now he hoped that the increase children would have an calming effect for the queen. His faithful adherence and benignity, his consideration of the family and the political cleverness dictate his attitude. His work spend him consolation in everything he did, also in this."

6.)He was the best father of the world. He loved his children more than everything else, besides his country. But well, that was an other kind of love, I guess.*grin* He was so happy when his first daughter Marie Thérèse Charlotte de France/ Madame Royal (December 19. 1778 - October 19. 1851)was born. He gladdened about her first baby-teeth. He spend every free minute with his lil girl. And she says already in the age of 8 month at first to him "Papa" and just then with 12 month first "Maman". And he was more the proud about his first son. Louis Joseph Xavier François de France (October 22. 1781 - June 4. 1789) Joseph loved to be with his father and to worked with him in his workshop. He was so happy to see his son dancing around him in a lil "sailor-uniform". Joseph don´t care that his daddy was the most powerful man in this country. For him, it was his most beloved father, who played with him as often as he can and which teach him so many things. He brought joy to everyone who saw him. Also like his last child Louis-Charles de France - future Louis XVII. (March 27. 1785 - June 8. 1795). He was like his brother a totally "Daddy's boy".
I know that somebody says the lil Beatrix was his child too. But not for me, cause  there are enough "proofs/facts" that it seemed she was just the child of MAs affair the king only accepted as his own- for reasons ofc!... so I ´didn´t call her in this

7.)His achievements (real achievements and not to be the queen of dresses and powder -.- )
A.)In the first 9 years of his regency the king was very popular. He was the only king in the 18. century who won a war against England. Louis got it  to brace again France position as an thalassocracy, cause he reconstruct the navy hugely. It had could rival with the British one without problems. France could in the  war of independence, which Necker also recommend, hold steady in front of England and helped the Americans in 1776 to be independent.
(translation of the German Wikipedia article which is in this point well acceptable)
B.)Reformations-
Transaction of the lil reformations for the first : austerity measures, abrogation of the province-bounds, improvements in justice, a search for improvement opportunities for the prisons, revision of potential misjudgment, release of wrongly condemned man, disempowerment and ablation of the old minister  (Choiseul), calling Turgots:  the awareness for structural reformations to get a fewer dissimilar and wealthily community are inevitable. The first reformation apply to the handicraft. Then the farmers, which should become free of uncleared work performance (corvee) . This etiquette was , against the  unwillingness of the magistrate and cause of the press of Louis registered. Implementation of more reformations (free delivery medical attendance of people which suffered under sexually transmitted diseases. Abolishment of mediaevally privileges.
C.)Reformation in military administration, appointment of the parliament (Notablen), abolishment of the torture, origination of more public workstations(eg. dewatering of  morasses) for example scantier which could work then for a good wages. Enhancement of the hygiene in hospitals and prison.

Sadly its over..;P I could tell you so much more..XDD

I tag:

Everyone who loves to do it and who loves history. ;)
